Sometimes you just need to add a single reference — a report, a study you found by hand, or a record
that isn't in any file you have. VADRR lets you type one in directly, with an optional auto-fill
from PubMed.
Who can do this: Leaders and Contributors.
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Accession Number | e.g. PubMed ID, Cochrane, EMBASE, etc. |
| Authors | Required. Author name(s). |
| Title | Required. |
| Abstract | Free text. |
| Citation Type | The kind of reference. |
| Journal | Name, Volume, Issue, Pub Year. |
| Page Numbers | Start and end. |
| Pubmed ID | The PMID. |
| Reference Manager ID | Your reference manager's ID (RefID). |
| Other Reference ID | Any other identifier. |
| Registry Number | e.g. a trial registry number. |
| DOI | Digital Object Identifier. |
The citation now appears in the citations table with the others.
Tip: If you have more than a handful of references to add, it's usually faster to import a
RIS or CSV file instead.
