Screening Conflict Resolution
In double-blind screening, two reviewers independently label each citation. When they disagree, a conflict is recorded.
What Counts as a Conflict
- Reviewer A says Yes, Reviewer B says No → conflict
- Reviewer A says Yes, Reviewer B says Maybe → conflict
- Both reviewers agree → no conflict; the citation takes that label
Resolving Conflicts
Only Leaders can resolve conflicts (Leaders may also be screeners themselves).
- Open the screening session.
- Click Conflicts to see all citations with disagreements.
- For each conflict, you see both reviewers' labels, tags, reasons, and notes side by side.
- Choose the final label (Yes, Maybe, or No) and optionally add a note.
- Save. The citation is now resolved.
After All Conflicts Are Resolved
Once all conflicts are resolved, the session is effectively complete. Included citations (Yes) flow into full-text screening or become available for extraction.
